Biography: Brent Scrimshaw President and CEO

Brent Scrimshaw is Atlantic Lottery’s President and Chief Executive Officer. He believes passionately in building a strong and involved role for the company and A Canadian to his core, Brent came to Atlantic Lottery in 2006 jumping into the role as the company’s senior marketer after working for organizations very much identified with the Maple Leaf itself. As the Chief Marketing Officer for the Canadian Football League, he played a pivotal role in reconnecting the legendary game with audiences from coast-to-coast. Brent also enjoyed a long and productive career with Molson in leadership roles that included Vice President, Sports & Entertainment and President of its sports and broadcast subsidiary, Molstar Sports & Entertainment. There he led assets that included the Molson Indy and the company’s role in Molson Hockey Night In Canada.
For Brent, its all about people, whether inside the company through its ‘People First’ strategy or in our communities as demonstrated through his unbending commitment to social responsibility in everything we do.
Relatively new to the region, Brent and his family have declared Atlantic Canada ‘HOME’ and are proud advocates of this special place wherever they travel. Outside of the office, Brent favourite diversions including riding his motorcycle along the highways and back roads of our region or kicking back in his favourite place on the planet – Stanley Bridge, PEI.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Brent’s leadership continues to strengthen Atlantic Lottery’s longstanding commitment to being an organization where every employee is focused on the mission of ‘Making Atlantic Canada a Better Place; by believing that social responsibility is part of our DNA and by operating the company in a manner that reflects the values and aspirations of Atlantic Canadians.
