GTECH S.p.A. Subsidiary GTECH Canada ULC Sign Amendment to Supply the Oregon Lottery® with 850 Additional Spielo Oxygen™ VLTs

GTECH to provide a total of 2,350 VLTs as a result of addition to 2013 contract, for approximately 95% increase in GTECH’s market share in 2014

ROME, Italy and PROVIDENCE, Rhode Island (February 7, 2014) -- GTECH S.p.A. subsidiary GTECH Canada ULC has signed an amendment to its contract to supply an additional 850 SPIELO OXYGEN video lottery terminals (VLTs) to the Oregon Lottery, in addition to the 1,500 VLTs first announced in October 2013.

Under the contract (which was the result of a request for offers), as amended, GTECH will provide a total of 2,350 of its OXYGEN VLTs.

The Oregon Lottery also plans to retain the 2,500 SPIELO prodiGi Vu® VLTs that the Company delivered in 2009.

The 2,350 OXYGEN VLTs will represent an approximately 95% increase in GTECH’s market share. Following the delivery of the OXYGEN VLTs, GTECH will have delivered 4,850 VLTs to the Oregon Lottery.

The installation of the OXYGEN VLTs, combined with the 2,500 prodiGi Vu VLTs, will represent approximately 40% of the Lottery’s total installed base of approximately 12,000 VLTs.

This expanded agreement is a testament to the excellent ongoing performance of GTECH gaming machines for the Oregon Lottery, one of North America’s most successful and forward-looking VLT programs,” said GTECH Americas President and CEO Jaymin B. Patel.

The amended contract provides for the delivery of a software package, including 12 games. The OXYGEN VLT contains the robust, easy-to-service sensys EP™ platform, and features dual 22-inch HD widescreens, advanced ergonomics, and the flexibility to provide tomorrow’s games today. Delivery of all OXYGEN VLTs is expected in 2014.

INTRALOT Certified on the Integrity of Operations in the Netherlands & Cyprus

ATHENS, Greece (February 13, 2014) -- INTRALOT’S subsidiaries in The Netherlands, INTRALOT BV and Cyprus, Royal Highgate, have received the ISAE 3402 assurance for the integrity of their systems and operations, supporting financial reporting.

In The Netherlands, INTRALOT re-achieved the assurance report, that it has first obtained in early 2011 (as SAS70 at the time), for the operations and systems it provides to the two Dutch Lotteries, Staatsloterij and De Lotto, according to the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3402, ‘Assurance Reports on Controls at a Service Organisation’, issued by the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board. Morpho Receive First Wagering Terminal Order From TattsBet

PARIS, France (February 11, 2014) -- TattsBet, one of the leading providers of betting services in Australia, has selected Morpho (Safran) to supply 3,500 wagering terminals for the sales outlets under its jurisdiction.

This latest contract follows a series of orders from parent company Tatts Group for a total of 6,000 lottery terminals and 4,000 ticket checkers.

TattsBet and Morpho teamed up to jointly design a terminal that would place punters at the heart of the betting process. The result is an innovative terminal which fully meets all current and future requirements for a point-of-sale terminal. La Française des Jeux Introduce ‘My Million’, a Raffle Add-on Game to Euro Millions

FRANCE (February 10, 2014) -- On February 1, la Française des Jeux (FDJ®) launched a national add-on game called ‘My Million’ to the European game Euro Millions. ‘My Million’, which is only available in France, is a ‘must-win’ game with a guaranteed French millionaire on Euro Millions draws days (i.e. Tuesday and Friday).

As Euro Millions – My Million is now a package of 2 games, French players who participate in the Euro Millions main draw are automatically entered into a separate ‘My Million’ draw.

Then, for every Euro Millions grid played, a unique ‘My Million’ code (made up of 2 letters and 7 figures) is automatically printed on the receipt.

For every draw, a unique ‘My Million’ code is drawn among all participating codes.

Connecticut Lottery “Play3 Day” Number 2-1-4 Delivers “A Whole Lotto Love”

Valentine’s Day Number Tops the Charts Paying Out $452,736.50 in Prize Money

ROCKY HILL, Connecticut (February 10, 2014) -- Valentine’s Day – February 14 – is fast approaching and nobody seems to know it better than Connecticut’s Play3 Day lottery players.  Topping the charts this week as one of the most frequently played number sequence, 2-1-4 has been a steady favorite.

When 2-1-4 was picked in the Monday, February 10, 2014, Play3 Day drawing, the hearts of 2,734 lucky CT Lottery ticketholders no doubt swelled with joy to be on the receiving end of a whole “lotto” lottery love.

Playing numbers with special significance is an entertaining pastime of many of our lottery players, which makes the timing of the number 2-1-4 being drawn near Valentine’s Day especially fun and exciting,” said Anne M. Noble, President and CEO of the CT Lottery.

Statewide, after all winning claims are presented; $452,736.50 in prize money will be paid out by the CT Lottery to the winning ticket holders with the number combination 2-1-4.

Since the Play3 Day game began, 2-1-4 has been drawn a total of 7 times in the daytime drawing with the last combination being picked on January 22, 2012.

Though the bulk of winners will most likely redeem their tickets in the next few days, players with winning tickets have 180-days from the date of draw to collect their winnings.

Ministry of Finance Investigators to Review Lotteries Act

STOCKHOLM, Sweden (February 10, 2014) -- The Government has adopted a directive to an inquiry such as should submit proposals on how the penalties for so-called promotion prohibition in the Lotteries Act can be more effective.

The Promotion ban aims among other things to prevent the game organizers without Swedish State consent marketing itself in Sweden.

Notwithstanding, there is a comprehensive advertising for providers without Swedish state in television, newspapers, radio and through electronic communication.

The Supreme Court has examined the regulation of the sanctions to the Lotteries Act and concluded that the design of the sanctions was discriminatory.

Anyone who promotes a foreign lottery may in some cases be punished more severely than if it had been an unauthorized Swedish lottery.

Therefore, the law of the part is to be reviewed.

Some types of decisions on lotteries are associated with penalties.

The investigator may also be asked to consider a system of penalties to be imposed immediately.

The assignment will be final report on 30 November 2014.

Registered Office of Tipp24 SE Transferred to London with New Statutes

LONDON, U.K. (February 7, 2014) -- The relocation of the registered office of Tipp24 SE from Hamburg, Germany, to London, UK, became effective today after being entered in the registry of the UK's Companies House under Company Number SE000078.

The effective relocation of the company's registered office also means that its Articles have now been replaced by the Statutes approved by the Annual General Meeting of 28 June 2013.

The 8,385,088 registered no-par value shares with a prorated amount of share capital of EUR 1.00 per no-par value share have converted by virtue of law into 8,385,088 registered shares under the laws of England and Wales with a nominal value of EUR 1.00 each.

The registered shares of Tipp24 SE will be traded in the form of so-called Clearstream Interests (CI) under the ISIN GB00BHD66J44 / WKN TPP024 on the regulated market (Prime Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as of 10 February 2014.

The necessary adjustments in the shareholder depository accounts will be effected automatically. Shareholders do not need to take any action in this regard.

Evolution to Create Danish Live Casino for Danske Licens Spil

LONDON, UK (February 11, 2014) -- Evolution GamingEvolution Gaming, a world leader in video-streamed Live Dealer gaming, announces that it has signed an agreement with Danske Licens Spil to launch a unique new online Live Casino for Denmark’s liberalised gaming market.

The dedicated area will feature Danske Licens Spil design, décor and branding throughout, as well as dedicated teams of dealers. Uniquely for the Danish market, dealers at one or more tables will be native speaking Danes.

Until the 2012 market liberalisation, Danske Spil was, in law, the only organisation able to operate gambling in Denmark. But whilst liberalisation has allowed others to enter the market, Danske Spil has retained its monopoly in games of luck, excluding casino games.

Evolution, meanwhile, was one of the first Live Casino providers to be approved by SKAT, the Danish regulator, and to begin operations on behalf of licensees in the re-regulated Danish market.
