IGT is the global leader in gaming. We enable players to experience their favorite games across all channels and regulated segments, from Gaming Machines and Lotteries to Interactive and Social Gaming. Leveraging a wealth of premium content, substantial investment in innovation, in-depth customer intelligence, operational expertise and leading-edge technology, our gaming solutions anticipate the demands of consumers wherever they decide to play. We have a well-established local presence and relationships...

"IGT has established a leading systems presence throughout Asia and we are building upon that positive momentum with regionally relevant innovations such as PlaySpot, Cardless Connect and Sphinx 4D," said Walter Bugno, IGT CEO International. Standout "Innovations for Asia" in IGT's stand will include:

IGT's award-winning PlaySpot™ mobile software solution that enables casino operators to capitalize on the immense regional popularity of table games throughout Asia. The PlaySpot mobile software solution gives players the option to place wagers on live roulette and baccarat games that are taking place on the casino floor, from their mobile devices, from any location within the casino. Players can enjoy live feeds from active tables on the casino floor, and can set table play criteria and be notified when a table meets the conditions and is "hot." IGT's PlaySpot technology also enables operators to offer a variety of other popular casino entertainment options such as sports betting, virtual sports betting and casino gaming via their patron loyalty mobile apps.

The Company's Cardless Connect™ systems solution, which enables players to use their smartphones to initiate patron loyalty sessions and seamlessly transfer funds to and from their existing player accounts. IGT's globally successful casino management systems solutions such as the IGT Advantage® system, Floor Manager and Mobile Responder. The Company will also feature a series of other systems solutions and bonusing applications that Asia-based operators can leverage to maximize the regional popularity of table games, and the universal relevance of mobile devices. IGT will spotlight its Table Manager solution, an automated system for rating and rewarding players, and its Lucky Chip® Bonus, a bonus module that can drive play and create surprise jackpots for table game players.

The award-winning SPHINX 4D™ game on the CrystalCurve™ TRUE 4D™ cabinet. The SPHINX 4D game offers a multi-sensory experience that enhances its glasses-free 3D technology with mid-air haptic and gesture-based technologies that enable players to touch and manipulate 3D objects emerging from the screen.

IGT's Skillcade™, omni-channel Lucky's Quest™ game. The Lucky's Quest game is a for-wager, casual-style game that features a map-based progression narrative starring a dragon named Lucky. A player's progress within the game can be transferred from a mobile device to a gaming machine and back, allowing for a seamless player experience across devices and channels. The Lucky's Quest game is the first omni-channel skill-based game to share progressive jackpots across channels.

Trade show attendees can experience other compelling IGT games for Asia in the Company's stand such as:

  • The multi-level progressive title Cai Yun Heng Tong™. A follow-up theme to the highly successful Gong Xi Fa Cai® game and sister-game to Wan Shi Ru Yi™ game, Cai Yun Heng Tong offers players a high-volatility four-level progressive.
  • The Rong Hua Fu Gui™ and Gold and Dragon II games on the CrystalDual® cabinet. The four-level progressive video slot games are designed for the Paltronic Link and include a mystery trigger that unlocks the progressive pick bonus feature. Both titles were developed to meet the unique player preferences of the Asia-Pacific region.
  • IGT's new TRUE 3D game title the Phoenix Rising™ 3D game. Housed on the AXXIS® 3D cabinet, the Phoenix Rising 3D game features bold, fiery graphics and offers players an immersive glasses-free 3D gaming experience.

Novomatic Sports Betting Subsidiary ADMIRAL Opens Europe’s Largest Sports Bar

GUMPOLDSKIRCHEN / VIENNA (May 8, 2017) -- Located in a prime location in Vienna, ADMIRAL Arena Prater opened on May 1 following six months of conversion work to become the largest sports bar in Europe. The launch event was attended by around 3,500 guests as well as racing legend and NOVOMATIC brand ambassador Niki Lauda and NOVOMATIC AG CEO Harald Neumann.

A range of activities and events were on offer both outdoors and inside the venue – action stages, football modules, and autograph sessions by the Vienna Capitals ice hockey team, the Austrian woman’s national football team, as well as Rapid Vienna and FK Austria Wien football teams.

With ADMIRAL Arena Prater, HTM Hotel und Tourismusmanagement GmbH and ADMIRAL Sportwetten GmbH are setting new standards in the entertainment sector. The ADMIRAL Arena in Vienna’s Prater offers sports betting of the highest caliber over two floors covering a total area of 1,350 m2. At the centre of the venue, reminiscent of an American sports bar, there is a large, semi-circular bar with a 15 m2 LED wall in high definition picture quality. Another LED wall, and at 42 m2 is one of the largest LED walls in Europe, extends along the back wall. Here sporting events are broadcast in supreme quality from 9 am to midnight daily. This main wall is the size of a small flat with an approximate length of 15m and height of 3m, weighing around 2 tonnes. The wall consists of 180 individual panels with a total of 4,608,000 LED image points. About 6 km of cables were laid to operate the two LED walls.

The main wall can also be split into many different screens thanks to NOVOMATIC-developed software. "This means that, for instance, all Champions League games playing at the same time can be broadcast together – this broadcasting possibility is unique in Europe," said Harald Neumann.

The interior furnishings are also exceptional and exclusive in Austria. Guests can take a seat on comfortable furniture designed to reflect different sports, such as baseball, tennis or football. Around 70 betting terminals and a dedicated horse racing area are available for use by guests. A selection of Grand Prix race courses can be tested on a Red Bull Racing Seat, and an entertainment stage is available for all kinds of events. The high-tech furnishings around the whole arena enable every show to be broadcast simultaneously across all screens and LED walls.

ADMIRAL Arena Prater also provides a comprehensive range of culinary delights. In addition to breakfast offers and lunch menus, chef Alexander Zerava also prepares meals that are an absolute must for a sports bar: crispy chicken wings with homemade barbeque sauce, the famous ADMIRAL tartar, classic burgers and the president steak. This is accompanied by draft beers, including dedicated draft pumps on the tables, with trendy craft beers, as well as fresh lemonade with honey, ginger or basil.

The NOVOMATIC Group is one of the biggest international producers and operators of gaming technologies and employs around 29,000 staff worldwide. Founded by entrepreneur Professor Johann F. Graf in 1980, the Group has locations in more than 50 countries and exports high-tech electronic gaming equipment and solutions to 80 countries. The fast, secure and reliable system enables lotteries to interact with players anywhere and everywhere, establishing a presence in people’s existing shopping behaviour and utilising existing retail systems and processes.

Enabling this number of buying options to players gives lotteries the opportunity to grow sales both to existing players who value the convenience of playing without having to queue separately at a dedicated lottery terminal, as well as attracting new players and re-engaging with lapsed or occasional players.

LaFleur's White Pages

Lottery Everywhere enables consumers to play at every checkout they visit and also opens opportunities for innovative and engaging new games and content. As customers process their shopping through multilane they can either select a printed game card from the aisle rack, the cashier offers them a game via a hot button on the till or they can play via a button on a self-service till. The consumer selects the game to play, which can be the traditional weekly draw ticket, a new game with an instant win, an instant cash prize, a voucher or a promotion, or one of Abacus’ new games such as Bill Paid.

For printing lottery tickets, Abacus has selected the versatile TSP700II from Star, a printer that combines high speed with superior functionality. Capable of printing at 250mm/second and with its large 100mm diameter paper roll capacity, the TSP700II offers up to 60% more paper than a standard 80mm roll, ideal for lottery applications saving time and reducing paper costs.

NY Video Lottery Revenue Sets Record $2 Billion in Net Win

Combined Lottery Sales & VLT Net Win Contribute to Near-Record $9.67 Billion with $3.27 Billion for Schools

NEW YORK (May 10, 2017) --The New York State Gaming Commission announced today that New York Lottery sales and Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) net win in Fiscal Year 2016/17 generated a near-record amount with a combined total of $9.67 billion in revenue, including a new record for VLT net win.

All profits go directly to Aid to Education for New York’s public schools – meaning the New York Lottery earned $3.27 billion for distribution to all school districts in the state.

As the New York Lottery celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, it’s fitting that the numbers prove that New Yorkers continue to support the continent’s most profitable Lottery,” said Gweneth Dean, Director of the Commission’s Division of the Lottery.

For the past five decades, the New York Lottery has broken record-after-record to help taxpayers and students across the state. We will continue to innovate and deliver fun and exciting ways to play Lottery games while maximizing revenue to support education.”

VLT net win again broke records with another 0.5 percent on top of last year’s $1.98 billion for a total $2 billion. This past fiscal year, machines at Resorts World Casino New York City generated an additional $8.2 million over the previous year and Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway brought in another $20.9 million on top of FY 2015/16.

Traditional lottery games generated $7.68 billion in sales, keeping on track with last year’s record of $7.7 billion. This encompasses draw games such as Mega Millions, Powerball, Cash 4 Life, Lotto, Numbers, Win 4, Take Five, Pick 10, Quick Draw, and Instant Games.

Draw game sales held their own with $3.68 billion in FY 2016/17 against last year’s record-setting numbers $3.79 billion.

Instant games, also known as “scratch-offs” grew another 2.3 percent over last year’s record-breaking numbers, with $4 billion in FY 2016/17 as compared to $3.91 billion in FY 2015/16.

The FY 2016/17 Year-End Review may be found here. A district-by-district breakdown of the Aid to Education distribution can be found here.

About the New York Lottery

The New York Lottery continues to be North America’s largest and most profitable Lottery, contributing $3.27 billion in fiscal year 2016-2017 to help support education in New York State. The Lottery’s contribution represents approximately 14 percent of total state education aid to local school districts.

New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district’s size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
