WyoLotto Transfers $1,001,963 to State Treasurers
Office
CHEYENNE, Wyoming (January 10, 2018)
-- On Friday, Jan. 5, WyoLotto transferred $1,001,963 to the State
Treasurers Office, where the funds will be distributed to Wyoming cities,
towns and counties.
This is the second of four quarterly
transfers that will occur this fiscal year [July 1, 2017-June 30, 2018]. To
date, the Wyoming Lottery has transferred a total of $6,539,300.94 to the State
of Wyoming since launching in 2014. Committed to giving back to Wyoming,
quarterly revenue transfers are a critical part of WyoLottos mission.
Thanks to our dedication to
paying off our start-up loan early, we were able to start making transfers to
the state in April 2016, making this our eighth transfer, said Jon
Clontz, WyoLotto CEO.
Clontz added that he is very excited
for 2018 and expects it to be the most successful year yet. We have
been working hard to get our brand recognized by players throughout the state,
and as such have set a goal to be in as many communities as possible focusing
on relationships with retailers and smaller communities. Were thrilled
about giving back to Wyoming with this most recent transfer and the positive
impact it will have on our counties and municipalities. Overall, it is
far-reaching and meaningful -- to residents, to businesses, to winners --
celebrating keeping money in Wyoming that, without the Lottery, would have been
spent elsewhere, Clontz said.

Not only are Wyoming communities
winning, but players and retailers are also winning.
- Since launch, the Wyoming Lottery has seen
2,269,922 WyoLotto players take home $33,505,280 in winnings.
- There are approximately 450 WyoLotto retailers
around the state.
- According to the Wyoming Lotterys 2017
Governors Report, retailers have earned over $5 million in commissions
from August 2014-October 2017. Small businesses around the state have been able
to realize the benefit derived from a new revenue source that didnt exist
before the Lottery was formed.
A young corporation, the WyoLotto
continues to increase revenue and decrease expenses. Large jackpots, like the
recent Jan. 6 of nearly half a billion in Mega Millions and over half a billion
in Powerball, hugely impact sales forecasts on a positive note.
By state statute, at least 45
percent of net proceeds from lottery sales must go to the prize pool. In 2015
and 2016, approximately 55 percent each year went to the prize pool. This
number rose to 57 percent in 2017.

Lotto
Bayern Contributes 400 Million Euros for the State Budget Last
Year
Participants win at Lotto
Bayern 558 million euros / 13 millionaires created in Bavaria
BAVARIA, Germany (January 10, 2018)
-- Around 558 million euros in profits was distributed last year to the State
Lottery Administration to its players. There were 13 million winnings in
Bavaria in 2017 thanks to the lotteries offered by Lotto Bayern. "About 400
million euros went to the state treasury for lottery tax and profit transfer
from Lotto Bayern. "These funds allow a variety of social and cultural benefits
for the citizens," said Minister of Finance and Homeland. Markus Söder on
the occasion of the 2017 lottery results.
The highest individual win in the
Free State scored a game participant from Upper Bavaria. For his hit in winning
class 1 at the Euro Jackpot he got nearly 22.57 million euros transferred to
his account.
In Lotto 6aus49, a total of two
matchmaking orders handed in at Bavarian betting shops hit the highest winning
class in 2017 (six corrects plus a super number), and Bavarian players have
scored "six corrects" 31 times. Four Lotto players from the Free State won more
than one million euros. Nearly 19 million euros fell on a game order from Upper
Bavaria, almost 5.9 million euros got a game participant from Lower Bavaria
transferred. Also in Upper Bavaria two lottery game orders were submitted,
whose owners were paid 1.3 million and just under 1.1 million euros.
In Game 77, the highest prize in
2017 was four times Bayern. All these hits were worth more than a million
euros. Almost 3.3 million won a game participant from Swabia. A player from
Upper Bavaria won at the additional lottery almost two million euros.
Approximately 1.7 million euros fell on a game order, which was also submitted
in Upper Bavaria, while the owner of a game played in Swabia 77 game order won
nearly 1.2 million euros.
In the lottery GlücksSpirale,
there was a player from Upper Bavaria and one from Upper Palatinate in 2017,
who won a monthly lifelong pension of 7,500 or, in the case of cash
withdrawals, a one-time amount of 2.01 million. In the internationally
coordinated lottery Euro Jackpot accounted for next to the highest Bavarian
profit of the year of 22.57 million around ten million euros on a game order
from Middle Franconia. Exactly one million euros worth was the tip of a Keno
player from Lower Bavaria.

During Recent Jackpot Runs
LOUISVILLE, KY (January 8, 2018) --
Although Kentucky wasnt one of the locations where the winning Powerball

Powerballs $559 million
jackpot was the 6th largest in the games history, while the $451 million

Mega Millions was hit) through last Friday, sales in Kentucky were $9.6
million. From that number, an estimated $3.8 million will be returned to the

October 28th through Saturday generated $17.3 million in sales, with an
estimated $6.9 going back to the Commonwealth.
All told, thats $27
million in sales for those two games during the run, generating approximately
$10.8 million in proceeds, Delacenserie said.
He added overall lottery sales are
currently tracking 7.5% higher than last years record-breaking pace, when
for the first time the Kentucky Lottery generated over $1 billion in sales.

NOVOMATIC Finalises Ainsworth Investment Following Green Light
From Gaming Regulators
GUMPOLDSKIRCHEN, Austria (January 8,
2018) -- NOVOMATIC completes investment in Ainsworth, an Australian gaming
supplier, following approval from regulatority authorities, including the
Nevada Gaming Commission in Las Vegas, Nevada.
All the necessary international
regulatory confirmations are in place, allowing NOVOMATIC to move ahead with
the purchase of approximately 52% of the Australian gaming company Ainsworth
Game Technology Limited (AGT). The process involved regulatory approval from
multiple gaming jurisdictions, including in Australia, South America and the
United States (US). One of the authorities main tasks was to carry out
comprehensive compliance checks, not just for NOVOMATIC itself, but also for
all owners, Supervisory Board and Executive Board members.
The completion of the transaction
took place on 5th January 2018. NOVOMATIC is now the owner of 52% of AGTs
issued capital. Given the completion of the sale, Mr Len Ainsworth has resigned
as an Executive Director of AGT effective immediately. Mr Ainsworth will
continue to support AGT as a consultant for a period of 12 months.
NOVOMATIC is now one of the few
European Union based companies to have passed strict compliance checks from
these international authorities. For this reason, a variety of independent
licensing boards undertook lengthy probity investigations and have confirmed
the deal can go ahead.
NOVOMATIC is particularly proud of
its successful approval with the Nevada Gaming Control Board in Nevada, US,
which required rigorous compliance scrutiny. NOVOMATIC is now the first
Austrian company to receive regulatory approval in the gaming metropolis of Las
Vegas. Harald Neumann, Chairman, stated: The compliance investigations
carried out as part of this registration were extremely thorough. They included
all corporate divisions of NOVOMATIC AG.
The purchase of shares in AGT at
over EUR 300 million is, to date, the largest investment an Austrian company
has ever made in Australia. Mr Neumann added: Our shares in Ainsworth
are strategically very important for NOVOMATIC. After all, the joint plan is to
increase market share in the US to about 10% over the next five years. In the
long-term, NOVOMATIC may become the world market leader in the area of
gaming.
About NOVOMATIC
