Junior Economists Award First Honorary Membership

MUNSTER, Germany — The Wirtschaftsjunioren Nord Westfalen have appointed an honorary member for the first time. The award went to Andreas Kötter, spokesman for the management of Westdeutsche Lotterie GmbH & Co in Münster. With the new opportunity to become an honorary member, the business juniors intend to thank deserved people for their commitment and support for the young economy in North Westphalia.

Dr. Christoph Budelmann, 1st chairman of the business juniors in North Westphalia: “With our honorary membership we hope to intensify networking between the generations, on the one hand to advance the young top performers and at the same time to benefit from the experience and knowledge of the older generation. With the award of the first honorary membership, we would like to honor Mr. Kötter’s diverse commitment to the young economy in North Westphalia.

Andreas Kötter from WestLotto is pleased with the award: “For me personally, the honorary membership of the juniors is an important honor. It shows me that at WestLotto we don’t work past the zeitgeist, but that we go with the times and that our attitude also convinces the young top performers.

The Wirtschaftsjunioren Nord Westfalen are made up of young executives and entrepreneurs under the age of 40 who want to actively shape their social environment, assume social responsibility and shape the economic landscape of tomorrow. The growing attractiveness of business juniors is also evident in the development of members. In 2019, 21 new members were accepted, so that around 100 young entrepreneurs and managers are now committed to the voice of the young economy in the region.
