RIJSWIJK, Netherlands – Today it was announced that the collaboration between The Dutch Olympic Committee*Dutch Sports Federation (NOC * NSF) and the Dutch Lottery will be extended by one year.

In addition, the financial contribution of the Dutch Lottery has increased substantially. This increase makes it possible for the NOC * NSF to put 1 million euros in the special Coronanoodfonds Sport.

The current agreement runs through December 2020 and has been extended until the end of 2021 today.

Gerard Dielessen, general director of NOC * NSF: “We are very pleased to extend the partnership with the Dutch Lottery by at least another year. Now that the whole of the Netherlands and sport is being hit so hard by the virus and the consequences of the necessary measures by the cabinet, it is very nice that we have partners who are and want to remain in solidarity. The increase makes it possible to make an extra donation in our Coronanoodfonds Sport and is therefore already very welcome. This fund contributes to absorbing the damage that the sport is currently taking on a daily basis. “

Niels Onkenhout, CEO Dutch Lottery: “As a long-term partner of Dutch sports, we are there in good times and bad times. In addition to our annual contribution to the sporting Netherlands, we think it is important that our partnership with NOC * NSF is now in the form of to extend and strengthen support for TeamNL.”
