La Française des Jeux Announce Availability of the 2019 Universal Registration Document
BOULOGNE, France – La Française des Jeux (FDJ), the leading gambling operator in France, announces the availability of its 2019 Universal Registration Document (DEU).
This document was registered on April 29, 2020 by the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) under number R.20-005.
It can be viewed and downloaded in the Investors section of the Group’s website and on the AMF website. It will also be available, upon request, at the head office of FDJ as soon as sanitary conditions allow.
Following on from the press release issued on April 21, 2020, FDJ indicates that on the date of registration of the DEU and taking into account the current health crisis, the prospects and objectives for 2020-2025, as presented in the Registration document approved on October 17, 2019 under number I.19-035 by the AMF, are suspended. However, FDJ confirms its distribution target of 80% of its consolidated net income for the 2020-2025 fiscal years, subject to approval by the Annual General Meeting of shareholders.
In this context, the company also decided to postpone to 2021 the implementation of a long-term incentive plan intended for the Group’s senior executives. For their part, Stéphane Pallez, Chief Executive Officer, and Charles Lantieri, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, proposed to reduce their annual fixed compensation by one month, to join in the solidarity action to which FDJ employees have contributed by donating more than 1,400 days of leave for the benefit of the “All united against the virus” alliance and of associations supported by the FDJ Corporate Foundation.
In addition, the DEU includes the description of the share buyback program as well as the addition of a health / epidemic risk to Chapter 3 – Risk factors.
