Kansspelautoriteit: Policy Rules on Information Obligation’ Adopted

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (September 21, 2021) — The Board of Directors of the Gaming Authority has adopted the ‘Policy rules on the obligation to provide information.

From 1 October 2021, it will be possible to offer online games of chance in the Netherlands with a license.

License holders are supervised by the Gaming Authority. License holders are obliged to report ‘relevant changes, behavior, and events’ to the Gaming Authority.

In the Policy Rules on the obligation to provide information, we elaborated on when licensees must do this and which changes, behavior, and events these are.

With these policy rules, we give substance to the information obligations of online providers (Article 5.1, second paragraph, Koa Decree).
