Sports Bet Montana Paid Out Close to One Million in One Week!

HELENA, Montana (March 25, 2022) — Sports Bet Montana paid out just over $980,000 to Montana bettors in the last week while retailers earned more than $71,000 in commission.

Basketball is in first place for the week ending March 21 with a handle of 93 percent. Special bets and hockey follow behind with a 2 percent handle each. Golf, soccer, MMA and tennis all finish with 1 percent of total bets wagered.

Bettors pocketed $981,500 in the last week while retailers saw over $71,600 in commission.

Sports Bet Montana, powered by the Montana Lottery, was launched after legislation passed in 2019 became law. Sports Bet was designed to benefit Montana players, Montana businesses and Montana citizens.

The Montana Lottery was created by citizen’s referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $774 million in prizes and returned approximately $302 million to the State of Montana and $83 million in retailer commissions.
