Buenos Aires, Argentina (June 8, 2022) — Social responsibility (SR): is it a new practice or should it already be considered one of the props on which lotteries must support their activity? What are the real benefits of a good RS policy? How can lotteries implement SR programs? What are the most outstanding SR practices in Ibero-American lotteries? Responsible Gaming: how to make it one of the fundamental pillars of a good SR strategy? How can the different management areas of a lottery contribute to the SR strategy?

These are some of the issues that will be addressed in the first face-to-face event organized by the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (Cibelae) after the 2020-21 health crisis. The ‘Conference on principles and actions of social responsibility in lotteries’ will begin on Tuesday, July 12 with a welcome cocktail. The program will take place on July 13 and 14 in the Cabildo Hall of the Sofitel Recoleta hotel in the city of Buenos Aires. Also in Buenos Aires, on Tuesday the 12th, the meeting of the Cibelae Board of Directors will take place.
