GERMANY (July 18, 2022) — As a non-profit organizer based in Offenburg, the first nationwide climate lottery is committed to a viable and secure future. This social task is so great that, in addition to the political measures and charitable organizations, it is necessary to create an offer that initiates additional funds in order to preserve the world as a place worth living in as we know it.

With ClimaClic , the first German climate lottery to be held throughout the Federal Republic, an offer for the population is to be created that contributes to the achievement of this challenging social task and at the same time keeps an eye on the goals of the State Treaty on Gaming 2021. Because by taking part in the climate lottery, the customer has the chance to win attractive cash prizes on the one hand and on the other hand climate protection is supported with every lottery ticket. With the ClimaClic Lottery, the customer decides for himself which sustainable climate project he supports.

As the organiser, ClimaClic gGmbH has access to an experienced partner in the lottery market in Burda Direct GmbH , which runs the lottery. With, among other things, Burda Direct has been a licensed commercial gaming broker for the whole of Germany for many years.

The law firm BENESCH & PARTNER has, among other things, taken over the legal advice on gambling. Attorney Marcus Röll (Equity Partner) and Attorney Dr. Michael Engelhardt (Local Partner) played a leading role in the successful application process for ClimaClic.
