Manager of the Medellín Lottery Received Recognition as “Proud Woman of Colombia”
· More than 15 years of experience as a public servant made her worthy of the award.
· The Fundación Reconciliación Futuro Colombia awarded her the outstanding distinction.
Medellín, Colombia (August 1, 2022) — The Medellín Lottery has reported that its manager, Claudia Patricia Wilches Mesa, has been recognized as a Proud Woman of Colombia, a distinction awarded to her by the Fundación Reconciliación Futuro Colombia, for her more than 15 years of experience in the public sector and for currently leading the most important lottery in the country, which has generated more than 202,000 million pesos (approximately 44.7 million euros) in resources for the health of all Colombians during the current administration.
In this regard, Claudia Wilches, manager of the Medellín Lottery, stated: “Being recognized as a Proud Woman of Colombia is a true honour and, at the same time, a great responsibility. I thank God for allowing me to do what I love every day and my family for always supporting me and accompanying me. Public service is a philosophy of life and that is why everything I do, I do with passion. I am truly convinced that when one has the privilege of being a public servant, the joy of serving should prevail in life, together we will continue working for the well-being of society”.
The Fundación Reconciliación Futuro Colombia, the host entity of the contest, is a non-profit organization that since 2015 has been working for causes such as support for children and older adults in vulnerable conditions in Colombia.
