Loterías y Apuestas del Estado Delivers Its Media Account to Wavemaker
WPP’s media agency will manage a budget of €18.5 million.
SPAIN (September 28, 2023) — Loterías y Apuestas del Estado has decided to hand over its media account to Wavemaker, after having chosen the plan presented by the latter in a contest in which only three agencies participated.
Wavemaker will be in charge of strategic and tactical planning, permanent advice, purchase of spaces and media dissemination of the campaigns and communication actions of the Christmas Raffle and the El Niño Raffle, with a budget of 18.15 million euros .
As explained by the state company in a statement, Wavemaker’s offer has turned out to be “the most advantageous for SELAE”, achieving the highest score in all evaluable criteria, surpassing the proposal presented by Iprospect.
WPP’s media agency thus gains the account previously managed by Equmedia . Last June, Loterías y Apuestas del Estado published a contest to find a new agency to help with media planning for the organization’s most popular draws.
