About Association of Argentine State Lotteries (ALEA)

The Association of Lotteries, Quinielas and State Casinos of Argentina gathers all the organisms that regulate and control the leisure activity in the national territory. Being a non-profit entity, it has the strategic mission of positioning itself as an advisory, reference and training entity for Argentine regulatory entities in matters of control, oversight, modernization and optimization of resources.

National integration with a federal sense, as well as the consolidation of ethical principles and social responsibility, characterize the association and its members under a common denominator: fundraising for social action.

More than 40 years of experience and consistency guarantee the permanence of the entity.

Six Advisory Commissions deal with Legal, Administrative, Marketing, Training, Computer and International matters. And two Coordinating Units work on Prevention of Money Laundering and Social Responsibility. Two areas complete the current structure of ALEA: Statistics and Communication.

Since its creation in 2011, the ALEA Social Responsibility Coordinating Unit has been a space for the exchange of good practices and experiences in Responsible Gaming, in order to develop common action strategies among the entity’s member organizations.

Made up of personnel from the country’s lotteries, it elaborated the Standards of Social Responsibility and Responsible Gaming, a document that constitutes a frame of reference and also commits member organizations to the promotion, definition and dissemination of good practices in this area, in each of the Argentine jurisdictions. It also carries out research such as the Diagnostic Survey and the Infographic of the Social Responsibility results, the RS Experiences Bank and the Guide to Good Practices, as well as the project on Principles of Responsible Gambling.

Through the exchange of experiences, the search for continuous improvement is sought.
