Verwaltungsgesellschaft Lotto und Toto in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mbH
LOTTO MV has been responsible for luck in the country for more than 25 years now – at least when it comes to gambling.
Around 60 employees take care of the LOTTO happiness. As a state-owned company, playing with responsibility is paramount. This also applies to player and youth protection.
LOTTO MV is based in the Hanseatic city of Rostock and works with around 500 LOTTO acceptance points nationwide. The state lottery offer of LOTTO 6aus49 & Co is playable in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern through the sales outlets and here in our online portal.
Incidentally, 46 million profits have so far been made in our state. Over 1.1 billion have been distributed in profits in the past 25 years.
LOTTO: PROFIT FOR THE COMMON GOOD
In addition to the entertainment factor and the channeling effect, the state lotteries represent the common good. Last year, lottery taxes amounting to 19.6 million euros were paid to the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A further 22.6 million euros flowed into the state budget as surpluses. Many non-profit organizations were supported by this income. These include the sponsors of the Voluntary Social Year, the volunteer foundation MV, grants for vocational schools, the Medical Task Forces MV, which support the emergency services and disaster management, the state program for the further development of child protection work and the pregnancy advice centers.
The state can support many cultural and sporting facilities in the state of MV through the income from state-regulated gambling.
The environmental lottery BINGO! ingested. A total of 123 regional environmental projects in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were supported by these funds. These included, for example, the Rehkitzrettung from the Perspective Usedom Foundation, the Erosionstal Heithörn Hanshagen nature adventure trail from the local interest association Hanshagen and a sea chart app from the Stralsund Baltic Sea Office of WWF Germany. In 2019, proceeds from the GlücksSpirale and Sieger-Chance lottery funds of 730,724.14 euros flowed equally to the German Olympic Sports Confederation, the Free Welfare Service, the German Foundation for Monument Protection and the Evangelical State Church in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
