Dutch Gaming Authority Chairman’s Opening Speech at Amsterdam Gambling & Awareness Congress 2022

Amsterdam, The Netherlands (December 15, 2022) — This morning Dutch Gaming Authority Chairman René Jansen gave the opening speech of the Amsterdam Gambling & Awareness Congress 2022 ( https://www.slicks.info/agac2022/) held.

This conference was organized by SLICKS, in collaboration with Client Interest Amsterdam and the municipality of Amsterdam. All parties that come into contact with gambling problems were present.

In his speech, René discussed the need for awareness about gambling. With knowledge and understanding, gambling problems can be recognized and tackled at an early stage. The Gaming Authority (Ksa) also sees an important role for itself in the prevention of gambling addiction. Collaboration with other organizations involved is essential in this respect.
