Responsibilities:
The Chief Marketing Officer leads the Division of Marketing of the Missouri Lottery. The position is responsible for directing or assisting in the overall planning, development, direction and integration of lottery product, promotion, loyalty program, advertising, research, retail support services and programs, loyalty program, digital communication (Lottery’s website and social media accounts), traditional public communication and Lottery events and sponsorships. Duties are in the area of identification of Lottery and marketing trends to provide vision for product development/management, marketing strategy/support development/management, media planning/direction, loyalty program, budgeting and management of communications and events/sponsorships areas. The position has program management and decision-making authority, as well as planning, budget and supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or more of the following: Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Administration, or a closely related field. A Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration is desired. Qualifying experience can substitute for education. Must have a minimum of five years of professional leadership in product development and management, product marketing, advertising, and/or public relations. Certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
