Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and nurture business relationships with an extensive network of U.S. Lottery executives and regulators across various management levels in sales, marketing, and technology.

• Enhance existing partnerships and develop new partnerships with Central Gaming System (CGS) vendors for North American lotteries and other major vendors.

• Generate visits and meetings with Lottery management as an opportunity to learn more about each Lottery’s retail objectives and to provide professional presentations about Carmanah’s track record and capabilities.

• Attend and participate in most, or all, of the annual North American Lottery tradeshows, conferences, and seminars. Participate in panels and give presentations at these events.

• As opportunities are developed, provide ongoing updates to Carmanah sales, management, and technical teams so that project scope and commercial terms can be developed.

• Define and verify scope for client quotations and proposals.

• Participate in planning meetings for RFP responses and assist with editing final drafts before responses are submitted.

• After a Purchase Order has been received, transition the opportunity to the project management, supply chain, and technical teams.

• Follow-up with customers regarding project and delivery status as required.

• Travel as required to develop business leads and opportunities via in-person presentations of Carmanah’s products, services, and capabilities.

• Provide competitive intelligence updates to the executive management team as needed.

• Provide quarterly account management updates to the executive management team.

• Meet weekly with SVP Global Sales & Business Development to review account management status of individual clients and ensure deliverables are on target.

Qualifications:            

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or more of the following: Marketing, Advertising and/or Business Administration, Sales Management, or a closely related field.  A Master’s degree in Business or Public Administration is desired. Qualifying experience can substitute for education. Must have a minimum of five years of professional leadership in sales management, gaming product development and management, product marketing and advertising, and/or public relations. Certification in Project Management is highly desirable.
