Swedish Gambling License Holders Report a Turnover of SEK 6.8 Billion During The Third Quarter

Strängnäs, Sweden (December 16, 2022) — Gaming companies with a Swedish license had a total turnover of SEK 6.8 billion (players’ stakes minus paid winnings) during the third quarter of 2022. This is an increase of roughly 7 percent compared to the same quarter in 2021. The figures are preliminary.

At the end of quarter three, just under 81,300 people were banned from gambling via Spelpaus.se. This is an increase of 5 percent compared to the previous quarter.
