New Jersey’s Pick-3 “7-7-7” Payout Sets Single-Day Record

Over $1,000,000 in prizes was awarded to Pick-3 players yesterday

TRENTON, New Jersey (Jan. 27, 2023) – Lucky 7s across the board! Last night’s Pick-3 drawing results were 7-7-7, and the Fireball number drawn was 7 as well. Now that Pick-3 awards fixed prizes, lucky players betting on number 7 set the record for the largest single-day Pick-3 payout in New Jersey Lottery history – over $1 million in prizes!

There were 2,862 tickets that won $250 each playing 7-7-7 straight based on a $0.50 wager. This is a major increase from the last time 7, 7, and 7 were drawn straight on June 28, 2022, when players only won $114.50 each based on the same $0.50 straight wager with a pari-mutuel prize structure.

This significant payout is the result of the game change that took place on November 14, 2022, which made it possible for players to win such a large amount in a single day. In fact, this is the largest single-day payout for Pick-3 in the history of the game.
