Coljuegos Recorded Figures for January 2023: Collection Grew 27.5% Compared to the Same Period of the Previous Year
BOGOTA, Colombia (March 2, 2023) —In January 2023, localized games (where casinos and bingos are located) contributed $30,615 million pesos to health, while games operated over the Internet contributed $28,803 million pesos.
For its part, Baloto Revancha contributed $4.231 million pesos; SUPER astro $11,783 million pesos and promotional games, $263 million pesos, during the first month of the current year.
Territorial games, such as lotteries, chance and Scratch and Ready, registered a collection for exploitation rights that reached $34,402 million in the month of January 2023.
Coljuegos announced that, in the month of January of this year, the Entity registered a collection of resources for health that reaches $81,248 million pesos, which represents a growth of 27.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and the transfers to health close to $265.936 million pesos, which also means a growth of 24.3% in relation to the same period.
In the month of January 2023, localized games contributed $30,615 million pesos to health (where casinos and bingos are located), games operated over the Internet, $28,803 million pesos; the Rematch Ballot, $4,231 million pesos; SUPER astro $11,783 million pesos and promotional games $263 million pesos.
Of these transfers to health, the Local Health Funds (municipalities) received $40,058 million pesos, the Departmental Health Funds (Departments) $9,856 million pesos, ADRES $172,933 million pesos, FONPET $20,252, and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation $16,834 million pesos.
In the case of territorial games, such as lotteries, chance and Scratch and Ready, they registered a collection for exploitation rights that reached $34,402 million in the month of January of this year. Of this total, the lotteries contributed $7,247 million pesos, the chance $23,262 million pesos and the Scratch Card 3,893 million pesos.

Coljuegos is the State Industrial and Commercial Company that administers the Rent Monopoly of the Games of Luck and Chance. It was created by Decree 4142 on November 3, 2011, as a national decentralized company, linked to the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.
The object of Coljuegos is the exploitation, administration, operation and issuance of regulations of the games that are part of the rental monopoly on games of luck and a chance that by the legal provision are not attributed to another entity. That is, Coljuegos acts directly on Localized Games (casinos, bingos, sports betting and virtual races); Innovative Games (Baloto- Rematch and Super Astro Millionaire), National Raffles and Promotional Draws.
