Dutch Gaming Authority Issues Cease and Desist Order on Winning Poker Network
THE HAGUE, Netherlands (March 27, 2023) — The Dutch Gaming Authority (Ksa) determined in September 2022 that Winning Poker Network gave the opportunity to participate in illegal games of chance in the Netherlands on one of its websites. The provider has been held accountable for this. Subsequently, the provider promised the Gaming Authority to cease these practices.
Ksa Continues to Monitor
Because the supply of illegal games of chance had not been completely stopped, the Gaming Authority has imposed an order subject to periodic penalty payments on this provider. If Winning Poker Network again offers games of chance without a license, it will forfeit 25,000 euros per week with a maximum of 75,000 euros.
The Ksa continues to check with the relevant provider.
