Kentucky Lottery Named As One Of The Best Places To Work In The State For Third Consecutive Year
Louisville, KY (March 21, 2023) — For a third year in a row, the Kentucky Lottery is proud to announce that it has been named one of the Best Places to Work in the Commonwealth.
The highly coveted award was given to the Lottery in the medium-sized company category for organizations with 150 to 499 employees. This honor is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures, as well as internal employee surveys.
“We are so honored to be once again named as one of Kentucky’s Best Places to Work,” said Kentucky Lottery President and CEO Mary Harville. “This award is a credit to our employees who make the Kentucky Lottery everything it is today. Without their dedication, positive attitude and commitment to our mission of funding education, this distinction would not be possible.”
The designation is presented by the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management, and ClearPath Mutual Insurance Company every year. Workforce Research Group manages the selection process. The program aims to motivate Kentucky companies to improve their workplace environments by focusing, measuring, and moving them toward excellence.
As a medium-sized employer, the Lottery was named the number one Best Place to Work in 2021. The Lottery was named to the list again in 2022. The Lottery will learn its final ranking for 2023 at an event in June.
The Kentucky Lottery has earned over $6.2 billion for the Commonwealth since 1989. KLC dividends pay for college scholarships, grants and education programs. Visit kheaa.com to find out more about grants and scholarships paid for by the KLC.
