Pick-4 “1957” Payout Sets Single-Day Record

Over $1,000,000 in prizes was awarded to Pick-4 players yesterday

TRENTON, NJ (March 6, 2023) – The New Jersey Lottery is excited to announce that Pick-4 players in the state have set a new single-day record for prize payout across the midday and evening drawings on March 5. The winning numbers for the evening drawing on March 5th were 1, 9, 5, and 7, awarding the majority of the $1,105,318 in prizes won yesterday.

This significant payout is the result of the game change that took place on November 14, 2022, which made it possible for players to win such a large amount in a single day. In fact, this is the new largest single-day payout for Pick-4, surpassing the previous record set on December 28, 2022.

There were 262 tickets that won $2,500 each playing 1957 straight based on a $0.50 wager. This is a major increase from the last time 1, 9, 5, and 7 were drawn straight on March 26, 2022, when players only won $467.50 each based on the same $0.50 straight wager.
