Sports Bet Montana Payout Tops $1.1M for the Week Ending April 8, 2023

HELENA, Montana (April 10, 2023) – The Montana Lottery today released sports wagering data for the week ending April 8:

  • Handle: $1,262,872
  • Payout: $1,123,899
  • Gross Gaming Revenue: $138,973
  • Sales Agent Commissions: $37,900

The top three sports by per cent of total handle were:

  • Basketball (39%)
  • Baseball (30%)
  • Golf (11%)

The Montana Lottery was created by a citizen’s referendum in 1986. Since then, it has paid over $774 million in prizes and returned approximately $302 million to the State of Montana and $83 million in retailer commissions.
