Gambling Companies with a Swedish License Had a Turnover of SEK 6.6 Billion During the First Quarter
Strängnäs, Sweden (May 29, 2023) — Gaming companies with a Swedish license had a total turnover of SEK 6.6 billion (players’ stakes minus paid winnings) during the first quarter of 2023. The turnover is unchanged compared to the same period last year. The figures are preliminary.
At the end of quarter 1, just under 92,000 people were banned from gambling via Spelpaus.se. This is an increase of eight (8%) percent compared to the previous quarter.

About the compilation
