GCBApps Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and Password Requirements
NEVADA (May 8, 2023) — In a continuing effort to maintain network and data security, the Nevada Gaming Control Board Online Filing System (GCBApps) will be implementing a two-factor authentication process for users signing into GCBApps. Additionally, all users of GCBApps will be required to update their passwords every 90 days. This change will be effective May 19, 2023.
Two-factor authentication will require users to provide an additional verification code sent to their email to gain access to GCBApps. Additionally, all users will be required to have their own user ID and password. Current Location Administrators will continue to have the ability to grant access to subordinate user accounts for the online system.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this transition. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please contact the Tax and License Division in Las Vegas at (702) 486-2008, Carson City at (775) 684-7770 or email
