Ksa Has Two New Independent Chairpersons to Oversee the Objections Advisory Committee
Adriane Koppe and Monique van Oers new chairpersons advisory committee objections
THE HAGUE (June 1, 2023) — As of 1 June, the Gaming Authority (Ksa) has two new independent chairpersons for the Objections Advisory Committee, for a period of three years.
The Board of Directors of the Ksa took this appointment decision in May. Adriane Koppe and Monique van Oers take over the chair from Hanneke Feije, whose term ends in June. Two persons have been chosen because more sanction decisions are being taken by the Gaming Authority, resulting in more objection procedures.
Adriane Koppe is a lecturer in Constitutional and Administrative Law at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. Monique van Oers is Director of Legal Affairs at the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM).
René Jansen, chairman of the Ksa:
“We are pleased to have found two worthy successors for Hanneke Feije, and thank her for her valuable efforts. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have these two very knowledgeable and experienced chairmen for our objection procedures.“
