Victorians Lose $3.022 Billion on Poker Machines in FY2022-23

Victoria, Australia (July 28, 2023) — On 28 July 2023, the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission released figures on poker machine expenditure for the 2022-23 financial year.

In total, $3.022 billion was lost in Victoria at the poker machines between 1 July 2022 and 30 June 2023. A total of $1.580 billion was lost between 1 July and 31 December 2022 while $1.442 billion was lost between 1 January and 30 June 2023.
