Introducing the “Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle”

Dorchester, MA (October 13, 2023) — The Massachusetts State Lottery is introducing a new raffle game for the holiday season that will offer a total of over $2.9 million in prizes and give one lucky player the opportunity to become the first $1 million prize winner of 2024.

Sales for the Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle begin on Monday, October 16 and will continue until Sunday, December 31 or until all of the game’s limited run of 550,000 tickets have been purchased. Each Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle ticket will cost $10 and will be available at Mass Lottery retail locations throughout the state.

The drawing for the $1 million prize will take place on Monday, January 1, 2024. Four $250,000 prize winners and six $25,000 prize winners will also be drawn on New Year’s Day.

The Lottery will also conduct weekly drawings to reward players who purchase a raffle ticket early in the game’s sales period. On 11 Fridays starting October 20 and continuing through December 29, one lucky ticket will be randomly drawn from the pool of tickets sold to-date to win a $20,000 prize. All 11 of these tickets will remain eligible to win a prize in the New Year’s Day drawing.

Additionally, every 100th ticket sold across the state will result in a $100 cash voucher. The voucher will print out after the raffle ticket and can be used to purchase any Mass Lottery product. Tickets that win a $100 cash voucher will also remain eligible for all remaining drawings.

The Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle will operate like a traditional raffle. Players will not select their own raffle numbers. Each ticket will contain a unique number. A player’s ticket number must exactly match one of the winning number sequences drawn to win one of the raffle’s prizes.

All winning numbers in the Mass Millionaire Holiday Raffle will be posted on the Lottery’s website and the Mass Lottery app. Players can also visit their local Lottery retailers to check if their ticket is a winner.
