Swedish Licensed Gaming Companies Reported Total Expenditure of SEK 6.7 Billion During 3Q 2023
Strängnäs, Sweden (November 8, 2023) — Gaming companies with a Swedish license had a total turnover of SEK 6.7 billion (players’ stakes minus paid winnings) in current prices during the third quarter of 2023. This is a decrease of just under 1 percent compared to the same period last year. The figures are preliminary.
At the end of quarter 3, roughly 99,000 people were banned from gambling via Spelpaus.se. This is an increase of 4 percent compared to the previous quarter.
