BRISBANE / GOLD COAST (February 22, 2024) — The Titans are proud to join forces with principal partner The Lottery Office and unveil Gold Coast Hospital Foundation as a jersey partner for the 2024 season.

The locally-based community organisation will feature on the front of Gold Coast’s Round 8 jersey against the Warriors in April, as well as on the junior retail supporter kit.

The Foundation raises funds to support patients and their families by delivering local health programs and projects, with it’s primary purpose to relieve medical hardship caused by illness, injury or disability while supporting the incredible patient care provided by Gold Coast Health medical professionals.

An initiative led by The Lottery Office, CEO Jaclyn Wood said supporting local charities like the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, and helping young people achieve their full potential totally aligned with their values.

“We are so proud that we have been able to support the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation through our partnership with the Gold Coast Titans,’’ she said.

“We’re so impressed by the work they do, not only here in the hospital but also out in the community.

“We hope that by gifting the principal logo position on the junior Titans jerseys, The Lottery Office can help The Gold Coast Hospital Foundation raise awareness of the great work they are doing.”

Titans CEO Steve Mitchell echoed the views of Ms Wood, eager to jump onboard and help support such an important pillar of the Gold Coast community.

“We’re really excited to be working with the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation and our wonderful principal partner in The Lottery Office with this initiative,” he said.

“They are two amazing institutions on the Gold Coast and it’s a nice three-way relationship where we can extend the work we’ve done to date and help this great foundation some more.

“The Foundation itself and the care and support is central to what we do as a community organisation and I’m sure it’s central to what The Lottery Office do as well.

“The fact both of our businesses can focus on this Foundation is critical and a really good outcome for the community it serves.”

On hand to help launch the new jersey and three-way partnership were Gold Coast players Kieran Foran and Tanah Boyd, who joined Titans mascot Blade and Gold Coast Hospital Foundation mascot Betty Get Better to surprise two young leukemia fighters, 4-year-old Bodhi and 5-year-old William, playing footy with the pair and gifting them new junior supporter jerseys donated by The Lottery Office.

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation CEO Russell Ousley expressed his sincere gratitude for the commitment from both The Lottery Office and the Titans in 2024.

“We are fortunate to have been gifted this opportunity from The Lottery Office and the Titans for our logo to proudly adorn the front of the Gold Coast NRL jerseys in New Zealand and on the junior supporter jerseys, just like the ones Bodhi and William wore at their meet and greet,” he said.

“It truly exemplifies the positive impact that corporate partnerships can have on our community, especially the lives of vulnerable children facing hardship.

“We are thankful for both The Lottery Office and the Gold Coast Titans.”
