Lotto Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Extends Long-Standing Partnership with The State Football Association

(03/26/2024) Sport connects: The partnership between LOTTO Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and the state football association has existed for 19 years now. The joint cooperation agreement has now been officially extended until the end of 2024 and announced at the “Thank You Referee” honorary event. Another sign of the promotion of sport and community in the country.

Fair play, which has become a cornerstone in recent years, remains of central importance to the partnership. With the introduction of the LOTTO Fair Play Cup for the 2010/2011 season, the fairest women’s and men’s teams in the association league, the state league and the state classes have been honored. The overall winners of the fair play rankings within the respective leagues receive, among other things, prize money of 500 euros. This creates added value and an incentive for all footballers to treat each other with respect both on and off the pitch.
