Montana Sports Betting Thrives: Basketball Leads with 86.5% of Wagers

HELENA, Montana (March 25, 2024) – The Montana Lottery today released sports wagering data for the week ending March 23:

• Handle: $1,595,042
• Payout: $1,632,951
• Gross Gaming Revenue: ($37,908)
• Sales Agent Commissions: $47,851

The top three sports by percent of total handle were:

• Basketball (86.5%)
• Ice Hockey (6.5%)
• Tennis (2.0%)
