Top Female Gaming Executives to Share Their Stories at Aristocrat’s Women’s Day Event in Manila

MACAU, SAR (March 4, 2024) — Gaming technology group Aristocrat is bringing together three women holding key executive positions in the gaming industry at its first International Women’s Day (IWD) event in the Philippines, on Friday, March 8.

According to  the ‘Macau News Agency (MNA)‘  the event, to be held at the Sofitel Manila, will feature Cheryl Tiglao, Director of Slots at Hann Casino Resort; Katrina Mae De Jesus, Head of Business Development and Resort Marketing at Universal Hotels and Resorts Inc.; and Vina Claudette Oca, Assistant Vice President – Gaming Licensing and Development at Philippine regulator PAGCOR.

Aristocrat Gaming indicated in a press release that they aim to celebrate the achievements of women in gaming and open the discussion on how organisations can benefit from investing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to accelerate progress within their own organisations and the industry.

Aristocrat Gaming’s General Manager – APAC, Lloyd Robson, highlighted the significance of hosting the company’s first-ever IWD event in the Southeast Asian country. “Our commitment to empowering women goes beyond equality— we believe that bringing in diverse perspectives and talents can enrich the gaming industry and boost innovation, shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for all,” he said as quoted in the same press release.
