Natural State Jackpot Launches Daily Drawings This Sunday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (April 19, 2024) – This Sunday marks the launch of daily Natural State Jackpot (NSJ) drawings at 8 p.m. CST.

The jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $300,000.

The jackpot starts at $50,000 and increases by $5,000 every draw until it reaches $100,000. After that, it increases by $10,000 for every draw. Previously, the jackpot increased by $5,000 every draw until it reached $150,000, then increased by $10,000 every draw.

The jackpot starts at $50,000 and increases by $5,000 every draw until it reaches $100,000.

According to Mike Smith, gaming director of the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL), adding a Sunday drawing will result in larger, faster-growing jackpots. Expanding to daily drawings will keep the NSJ game odds and set cash prizes the same.

The cost of NSJ tickets will remain at $1 per play. Players can choose five numbers between 1 and 39 or opt to have the numbers randomly generated by the lottery terminal. Approximately 2,000 ASL-licensed lottery retailers will sell tickets for the NSJ daily drawings.

“Life-changing jackpots produce more than just lottery winners,” Smith said. “Proceeds from draw game sales drive more money for scholarships, and our retail partners receive a commission when a player cashes in a winning ticket sold at their store.”

Since 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has raised more than $1.3 billion in proceeds for scholarships and awarded more than 720,000 scholarships.

Following each NSJ drawing, winning numbers can be viewed at MyArkansasLottery.com.
