Boulogne, April 25, 2024 – The board of directors of the FDJ group approved the reappointment of Ms. Stéphane Pallez in her role as Chairman and CEO, for a four-year term. This renewal is part of the renewal of Stéphane Pallez’s mandate as director, submitted to the vote of the shareholders of the FDJ group meeting at a general meeting today and approved by 94.2%.
Chairman and CEO of La Française des Jeux since 2014, Stéphane Pallez led a major transformation of the company during her first two mandates, combining growth, digitalization, innovation and societal commitment.
Stéphane Pallez notably successfully led the privatization by way of IPO of FDJ in November 2019, which was the starting point of a new stage in the Group’s development.
She successfully completed the digital transformation of FDJ, whose online turnover has tripled since 2019, representing 13% of total activity, while strengthening its territorial anchoring with the leading local network in France. Beyond the solid performance of point-of-sale lottery and sports betting activities, FDJ has developed growth drivers, particularly in the field of competitive sports betting and online games, with the launch of a poker in 2022 and horse racing betting in 2023, following the acquisition of ZEturf. As part of its internationalization strategy, the Group also acquired the Irish lottery, Premier Lotteries Ireland, at the end of 2023.

Biography
Before being appointed CEO of FDJ in November 2014, Stéphane Pallez was CEO of the CCR reinsurance group (Caisse centrale de réassurance) between 2011 and 2014, and Deputy Financial Director of the France Télécom-Orange telecommunications group from 2004 to 2011. From 1984 to 2004, Ms. Pallez held various positions at the General Directorate of the Treasury at the Ministry of Economy and Finance. She was successively in charge of the Insurance sub-directorate from 1995, of a portfolio of State participations between 1998 and 2000 within the APE (State Participation Agency), then responsible of the European and International Affairs Department between 2000 and 2004. During this period, she was also deputy administrator of the World Bank in Washington between 1988 and 1990, and technical advisor to the Ministers of Economy and Finance, Pierre Bérégovoy and Michel Sapin, in charge of industrial issues, from 1991 to 1993.
Stéphane Pallez is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies (IEP) in Paris and a former student of the National School of Administration (Ena – Louise Michel promotion).
