Cloud Migration: Thüringer Staatslotterie Relies on adesso for ERP Modernisation

Dortmund, 18 July 2024 – Thüringer Staatslotterie, the state lottery provider for Thuringia in Germany, is pushing ahead with digitalisation by partnering up with the IT service provider adesso to launch a new ERP system. In the future, the state lottery provider plans to rely on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, taking advantage of innovative cloud technology. The project is currently scheduled to last several years, during which adesso will be responsible for implementation and further development in particular.

The cloud-based ERP system will enable Thüringer Staatslotterie to standardise work processes in numerous divisions of the company for higher efficiency and more transparency. Challenges posed by the project include integrating various add-on modules into the standard software, extensive interface programming, and data migration.

During the tendering process, adesso stood out thanks to over 20 years of experience in the lottery sector and proven expertise in Microsoft ERP projects. adesso has also been a reliable digitalisation partner for Thüringer Staatslotterie for many years. Against this backdrop, an ERP solution tailored to the customer’s specific requirements is now in the pipeline.
