Florida Resident Advances in NASCAR Powerball Playoff Promotion

 Florida Competes as Semi-Finalist for VIP Trip and $1 Million!

TALLAHASSEE – Today, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) is thrilled to announce that Kevin Weber, of Bradenton, has been selected as a semi-finalist in the 2024 NASCAR Powerball Playoff™. Weber now stands among 16 lottery players nationwide vying for a trip for two to 2024 NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Phoenix Raceway® and entry into a nationally televised drawing to win $1 million.

The 16 lottery players were publicly announced during this weekend’s Cookout Southern 500 broadcast at Darlington Raceway on USA Network.

Weber was first chosen as one of 50 Florida players who entered a national pool for this unique promotion. The 16 semi-finalists, including Weber, were randomly selected from the national pool during a preliminary drawing on Aug. 13.

These semi-finalists now move on to a series of elimination drawings held in parallel with the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs™. Each drawing brings them closer to the thrilling finale.

The NASCAR Powerball Playoff offers participants a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win big while experiencing firsthand the excitement of NASCAR racing. The promotion ran from July 1 through July 31, 2024, and allowed players to enter via the Lottery’s website or mobile app.

UPCOMING NASCAR POWERBALL PLAYOFF DRAWINGS:

  • Round of 12: September 21, 2024 – Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway
  • Round of 8: October 13, 2024 – Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway
  • Championship 4: November 3, 2024 – Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway
  • $1 Million Championship: November 10, 2024 – NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Phoenix Raceway

The $1 million grand prize drawing will be broadcast live during NBC’s pre-race coverage on November 10, 2024. Each of the 16 semi-finalists is guaranteed a cash prize, with amounts increasing as the competition progresses.
