North Carolina Education Lottery Launch New Draw Game This Weekend
RALEIGH – Cash Pop, a new draw game from the North Carolina Education Lottery, launches on Sunday. Starting Nov. 17, players can “pop” into a store where lottery games are sold to win up to $2,500, five times a day.
Cash Pop offers an easy-to-play draw game with only 15 numbers. When a player picks a POP (number) that matches the number drawn, they win. Drawings will be held five times daily.
“What’s fun and unique about Cash Pop is you only have to match one number in a drawing to win,” said Mark Michalko, chief executive officer of the N.C. Education Lottery. “We believe lottery players will love how easy this game is to play.”
Players can pick more than one POP or all 15 to guarantee a win. Prizes are randomly determined and appear on each ticket with a minimum prize of 5X the amount played.
Cash Pop becomes the lottery’s first new draw game launched since 2020. Tickets for Cash Pop drawings are only on sale at retail locations where lottery tickets are sold.
Overall odds to win a prize are 1 in 15. Odds to win the top prize are 1 in 15,000.
