Texas Lottery Commission Named Top Workplace Award Winner By Austin American-Statesman
AUSTIN, Texas (November 18, 2024) — The Texas Lottery Commission has been recognized as one of the best places to work in Greater Austin with the award of a Top Workplaces 2024 honor. The agency secured a spot in this year’s Austin American-Statesman Greater Austin Top Workplaces list, which is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage. The agency last won the award in 2022, the previous year it applied.
“Our agency is thrilled to be recognized once again as a Top Workplace in Greater Austin,” said Ryan Mindell, executive director of the Texas Lottery Commission. “The success of our team in positively impacting public education, veterans and charitable causes across the state would not be possible without our talented, innovative and passionate staff. They bring not only their skills but also their heart to this work every day. This award is a testament to them and to the collaborative, team-centered culture we’ve built.”
The confidential survey measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling Respected & Supported, Enabled to Grow, and Empowered to Execute.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
