Boledo Lottery Revenue is Projected to Soar Past $70 million in 2024
(February 18, 2024) — It appears that Prime Minister John Briceño is optimistic about the performance of the country’s Bоlеdо lottery, projecting annual revenue to exceed $70 million in 2024. This represents a significant increase compared to previous years, where figures were reported around $18 million and $30 million.
The PM expressed confidence in surpassing the $70 million mark in sales for the year, acknowledging that he lacked the latest official figures. He contrasted this with past performance, noting previous reports of $18 million, $19 million, and $30 million in revenue.
The anticipated increase in revenue is expected to have a positive impact on the National Health Insurance (NHI) program, a key government initiative. Prime Minister Briceño outlined the allocation process, mentioning that the money would be distributed to the public, with a focus on national health insurance, charities, and some for sports.
However, there are concerns within some sectors about relying on gambling revenue for social programs. Critics argue for diversifying revenue streams and addressing potential ethical implications associated with gambling.
While official confirmation of the projected figures is pending, Prime Minister Briceño’s statement reflects a growing confidence in the performance of the Bоlеdо lottery and its potential contribution to government initiatives.
