Danes’ Gaming Consumption Increased in June
DENMARK (August 9, 2024) — The latest figures show an increase in gaming consumption for both betting, online casino, slot machines and physical casino in the month of June, compared to June 2023.
In June 2024, Danes’ consumption of betting, online casinos, slot machines and land-based (physical) casinos amounted to DKK 703 million. DKK
This is an increase of 37 per cent. compared to June 2023. During the period, there has been an increase in consumption for all four gaming areas.
The overall increase in the period is mainly driven by an increase in the consumption of bets, although it should be noted that the repayment proportion for bets was lower in June 2024 compared to June 2023.
