The Swedish Gaming Authority’s Director General Has Her Appointment Extended
Strängnäs, Sweden (May 30, 2023) — The government decided on 17 May that Camilla Rosenberg’s appointment as director general and head of the Gambling Inspectorate will be extended. The appointment is valid until 31 October 2026.
“It feels good to be able to continue working on launching the various parts of the reform and taking the continued important steps for a well-functioning Swedish gambling market,” says Camilla Rosenberg.
In October 2017, Camilla Rosenberg was appointed director general of the then Lotteriinspektionen. In connection with the reregulation of the Swedish gambling market, the authority changed its name to Spelinspektionen in 2019.
