FansUnite Obtains Sports Gaming Supplier License in Ohio

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (December 15, 2022) – FansUnite Entertainment Inc. (TSX: FANS) (OTCQX: FUNFF) (“FansUnite” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Ohio Casino Control Commission has granted FansUnite a Sports Gaming Supplier License for the state of Ohio.

Legal sports betting will be available in Ohio beginning on January 1, 2023, and it is projected to generate a sports betting handle of roughly $8.8 billion during its first calendar year.1 FansUnite will become a legal gaming supplier for Betr Holdings Inc.’s micro-betting sports brand betr, as well as potential new clients that operate in this state. betr is expected to launch in Ohio soon after the state legalizes sports wagering.

In addition to the Ohio license, FansUnite has obtained a Gaming Related Supplier – Manufacturer license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, as previously announced in March 2022 and the Company plans to become a legal gaming and affiliate solutions provider in more betting jurisdictions in accordance with its client’s operations.
