Responsibilities:
- Develops product plans for the scratch-off game portfolio to optimize game performance. Monitors the health of the game portfolio and recommends appropriate actions to maintain high performance.
- Serves as the subject matter expert on scratch-off games in the lottery industry, staying abreast of new games, trends, and promotions throughout the industry.
- Manages the product lifecycle of the scratch-off games portfolio. Analyzes game sales to identify existing weaknesses, finds new profitable opportunities, and recommends adjustments to portfolio strategies.
- Develops scratch-off games and makes recommendations on ticket designs, prize structures, and game parameters.
- Collaborates with NCEL departments and vendor partners to support scratch-off product lines. Works closely with the scratch-off vendor(s) and all Lottery departments to ensure successful game launches and execution of portfolio strategies.
- Recommends and manages research projects alongside the scratch-off game vendor and research partners.
- Supervises and guides Product Development Coordinator to ensure successful product launch.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Marketing, Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of product development experience, preferably in the lottery or gaming industries.
- Knowledge of scratch-off games and lottery gaming systems.
- Experienced in new product development, project management, and knows how to use basic statistical techniques.
- Highly analytical. Able to compile, analyze, and present data through reports and presentations. Able to translate large amounts of data into meaningful insights.
- Highly detail-oriented with proven organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Experienced in using business object, SAS, Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong organizational skills with ability for multitasking, prioritizing and strategic thinking.

- Oversees the activities of the VP, Product who is responsible for creating a product portfolio that will continue to deliver increasing revenues and gross gaming revenue (GGR) while integrating the continuously evolving digital suite of products into the KLC portfolio and brand experience.
- Oversees the activities of the VP, Chief Brand Officer to define, develop and maintain the company’s brand identity and image. Ensures the company’s brand helps to attract and retain customers. Ensures brand consistency across all touchpoints, to enhance customer trust and loyalty. Oversees the design and implementation of effective marketing strategies and programs, to support new and existing products, and leveraging advertising impact and product awareness to generate maximum sales and profits.

- Mentors and develops staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis. Establishes and monitors staff performance and development goals, assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and conducts annual performance evaluations.

Knowledge/Skills Experience
Incumbent must possess the following combination of knowledge and experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
- Minimum of ten years’ relatable work experience.
- Proven experience as a senior manager with demonstrated leadership skills in building, mentoring and coaching a team. Ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with senior management, Board of Directors, and staff.

Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
