Details: We’re looking for a Senior Insights Analyst to join our Insights & Analytics team within our Winnipeg Office OR Remote within Central or Eastern time zones.

As Senior Insights Analyst, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify how lotteries around the world can better serve their customers. You will be responsible for discovering insights from data and developing narratives that influence decision-makers within Pollard Banknote, as well as our lottery clients worldwide. You will also deliver comprehensive business strategy plans to stimulate profitable growth through digital innovation, retail excellence, and outstanding games.

What You’ll Do

  • Analyze data to identify valuable insights, industry trends, business opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Craft and present compelling narratives and detailed reports, synthesizing information for both internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Assist in the development and adoption of industry-leading business intelligence tools.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to communicate trends, insights, and recommendations effectively.
  • Oversee various research-related projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Adapt to emerging business needs and handle various ad hoc duties as required.
  • A data-driven individual who is passionate about finding insights through data.
  • Self-starter who can work with little supervision, is dependable, and highly detail oriented.
  • Able to effectively communicate with various levels of management, both internal and external departments, adapting communication style to effectively convey information.
  • Able to analyze and summarize complex information in a simplistic and meaningful way to create compelling reports.
  • Post-secondary education within Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of previous applicable industry experience.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office, specifically Excel, Power Query, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Able to manage and complete multiple projects with various deadlines and priorities in a results-oriented environment.
  • Experience in creating, conducting, and analyzing surveys.
  • Experience leading projects and/or teams is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Amazon QuickSight.
  • Understanding of AI tools and their application in data analysis is an asset.
  • Lottery experience is a plus.
